Though they adolescents be addin’ rappin’ sessions over addin’ lessons
Like fuck trigonometry, I’m trying to multiply monopolies
Subtract some homies then divide the cheese
Divide legs just to isosceles so my eyes can see through the E
Shit on you hypotheses
Hypocrisy after essence like apostrophes
You can’t stand here unless you pay a posture fee
Part the cheese, head out the spot and leave
A pile of G’s for apology

Prohibition has finally run its course: Our prisons are full, our economy is in ruins, the lives and livelihoods of tens of millions of Americans have been destroyed or severely disrupted. What was once a shining beacon of liberty and prosperity has become a toxic, repressive, smoldering heap of hypocrisy and a gross affront to fundamental human decency.

Myke Bogan - “Get Lifted” 2012 (by Soundlapse)
well well well well
-Written by Elliott Harper
It is a great day to be alive, with many more just among the horizon. Be prepared for Myke Bogan becoming a household name, as well as Soundlapse Video Productions. In regards to the realms of music and pop culture currently today we are amongst a clash of what the future will be presenting us with. The presence I speak of is the Lyrical Architect Mychal Bogan, a transplant from the Los Angeles Area who I attended college and played D1 football with for the University of South Dakota. He currently resides in the Portland, Oregon Area, yet not hesitating to make his way throughout America on his quest to the “green”, (Some of you out there may be thinking what “green” am I talking about. I am not talking about the money… The big picture of life needs to be broken down into the perspective of things much simpler than how most tend to view it. The “green” I am referring to is one in which provides many positive and essential applications that can be used for nearly anything. As a matter of fact the “green” I speak of so strong and beautiful that it is not at hands reach for everyone like it should be. But rather it is hidden and risky to find, yet so highly sought after that people go to war for it. It is not given to us all because of the jealously that is associated by those who don’t allow it, the are simply jealous because they know what the results would be if they do. We have been present with blinders that shield us from the truth, a certain truth that can impact us in such a positive way if only it was given rightfully deserves. The “green” does an excellent job of taking care of your mind, body, and spirit. The “green” is a cure of sickness, boredom, depression, can be used a hobby, pastime, the key component of a friendly gathering. The “green” can be as a euphoric enhancement that allows you to think comfortably, peacefully, and in a relaxed state if mind. The “green” can be used as a way of trade, the “green” should be able to be accepted as a fair value of trade in the common markets, as well in the black markets, the “green” has the same power of “gold.”) Mychal is on route to becoming the next big name in Hip-Hop he will be, as he well put it “I’ll probly go “green”, let me rephrase that, I’ll legalize Weed and bring Hip-Hop back. Cuz Hip-Hop lacks the feeling and the passion that it used to have I guess I’ll pick up Hip-Hop’s slaaaack.” Those lyrics can be heard on a song named “The Weekend,” off the mix tape release a couple years ago titled- No Bars Wasted.
Myke shows the love and passion that has been missing from the game, with the exceptions of a very small group of talented artist out currently such as forefronts Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole. (Really in my opinion that passion has never left, it can be heard throughout this beautiful country of ours and even beyond our borders internationally. It just happens to be buried under so much of the bullshit that is pumped out to the masses at such a high rate, that the REAL MUSIC, the ROOT of OUR SOULS is washed away.) He is on the rise to the top, this success will be gained coming off of pure talent alone. Music is a beautiful thing and w/ that being said, there will always be a reciprocal to the beauty as in everything else in life. Sounding much like a cliché, the music today is commercialized to the maximum and run by large companies/conglomerates that control the entire industry. Hence, there are only a few routes that artist can choose to that will allow them to sift through that nonsense. And only after that if they so riskily choose so, it is a route that most will be too afraid to take once presented with the true Giant they will be facing. It takes one that creates room to provide the uppermost time, preparation, dedication, and most importantly, commitment, commitment not only to themselves but, to the people they impact on the daily. Being a star takes tens to thousands times more effort than one can ever fathom to reach the peak, but through all the thick and thin or as Myke would cleverly state it, “In the heat running through June thickets.” It will all pay off in the end because by that point you would know that you have already made it.
This music Video is a must watch!!!. Also if you don’t already have a datpiff.com account be sure to make one and download his mix tape titled, “So Long South Dakota”
